Dr. Mrs. Margaret Nkrumah

Dr. Nkrumah is a retired educationist, and a former Senator and Vice President of SOS Kinderdorf International. She was the first Principal of SOS-HGIC, and her inspirational leadership built the foundations of the College and established a culture of excellence, which continues today. She was also the Board Chair Of SOS Children’s Villages Ghana and also served on the board as a member. She is an honorary member of the SOS Children’s Villages International Federation and a life time member of the SOS-HGIC board

Mrs. Eliz Dadson

SOS-Hermann Gmeiner International College

Mrs. Dadson is the Principal of the College and currently the staff representative on the board. She comes with over 15 years of education experience both in the UK and the UAE. She worked in a number of roles overseas; initially on the UAE education reform project as an education consultant and at Brighton College Abu Dhabi where she was Deputy Head Academic for the Senior School. Mrs. Dadson was appointed a full-time Vice-Principal II in August 2019, Acting Principal/Principal Designate in April 2020, and then appointed Principal in August 2020. She brings to the Board insights from staff for the development of the school as well as her wide education experience.

Mr. Nii Amanor Dodoo

KPMG

Mr. Dodoo is the recently retired Senior Partner of the KPMG Practice, a leading auditing firm in Ghana. His core expertise is in the area of audit operation and due diligence, reviews, company valuations, and special engagements. He was appointed the Receiver for the defunct Unibank Ghana in 2017. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Nigeria. He has varied experience in providing audit advisory services, privatization and due diligence reviews, project evaluation of proposed acquisitions, and reporting accountants.
He has served as an audit engagement partner for audit services to a number of clients across various industry sectors including key subsidiaries of global clients in Ghana.

Mr. Alexander Mar Kekula

SOS Children’s Villages, Ghana | SOS-HGIC Alumni

Mr. Kekula is the National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Ghana and serves on the board to strengthen the cooperation between SOS Children’s Villages and SOS-HGIC. He is also an Alumni of SOS-HGIC, and formerly of the SOS Children’s Villages Liberia. He is passionate about the education of children, and the issues that affect them.

Ms. Rosy Fynn

Mastercard Foundation – Ghana

Ms. Fynn, is a telecommunications professional, an award-winning business and change leader with over a decade’s executive-level experience building and transforming organizations across Africa and the United States. She is currently the Country Director of the Mastercard Foundation, Ghana. Ms. Fynn was the Guest Speaker at the College’s 30th Anniversary Celebrations on 7th November 2020, and spoke on the theme “30 Years of a Pan African Education: Past Successes and Future Aspirations.” She is a proud SOS-HGIC Alumna, from the class of 1999.

Her Ladyship, Justice Klorkor Okai

Her Ladyship, Justice Klorkor Okai Mills sits as a High Court Judge at the Law Court Complex in Accra. She was first sworn into the bench as a Circuit Court judge in 2023. She, practiced immigration law in the United States before returning home to Accra, Ghana, in 2010 to head the Human Rights Office of the institution/NGO, “the Projects Abroad”. After being called to the Ghana Bar in October 2010, she worked with the internationally reputed firm, Bentsi Enchill, Letsa and Ankomah. Subsequently, she joined the reputed Ghana Armed Forces Legal Department as an Assistant Director, Legal Services. It was from that position that she was appointed to the post of Judge Advocate in the Office of the Judge Advocate General (JAG) of the Ministry of Defence of Ghana from June 2013 to May 2023. Mr. Kwabena Bediako Akosa

Mr. Kwabena Bediako Akosa is an accomplished executive with a wealth of experience in finance and general management. He has 30+ years of work experience across four continents and brings a unique perspective and understanding of complex cultural and business environments within Sub-Saharan Africa.

Currently, Mr. Akosa serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Allterrain Services Ghana Ltd, a mining services company based in Accra, Ghana. He also acts as Managing Director of Africa Fertilizer Company Ltd (AFC). AFC imports and distributes fertilizers, seeds, and fungicides while exporting cashew nuts, non-GMO soybeans, and shea butter products.

Mrs. Akofa Kuenyehia Bentsi-Enchill

Akofa Kuenyehia Bentsi-Enchill is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Akua Kuenyehia Foundation (AKF). With over 14 years of empowerment experience, she has been at the forefront of designing and implementing programs that equip underprivileged girls in Ghana with leadership, life skills, and professional development opportunities.

Her journey is a testament to her unwavering commitment to social change, marked by a bold decision to leave a thriving career in finance to pursue her passion for empowering the next generation.

Before taking on the role of Executive Director of AKF in 2012, Akofa had already built an impressive career. A first-class honours graduate in Biochemistry from the University of Kent and a holder of a master’s degree in management from the London School of Economics, she spent a decade in the finance industry at Barclays Bank UK and Ghana, where she excelled in various leadership roles.
