The ESAF Youth Power Summit is a youth empowerment program aimed to support young people to strengthen their initiatives as well as foster a culture of youth involvement in Africa. Over 40 participants from 17 nations attended the summit. The youth leaders acted as mentors, listening to the teenagers' proposals and providing constructive feedback. ‘Yurlim’, a Dagbani word meaning ‘love’, was aptly chosen for this initiative's name. This foundation was founded by a group of DP1 students and catered to the social and emotional needs of teenagers and encourages them also to practice self-love for the entirety of their lives.   The Yurlim Initiative was launched on Thursday 5th January 2023 at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
